first things first, an explanation of the band name: KAT-TUN is an acronym formed by taking the first letters of each of the six band member's surnames:

K) Kamenashi Kazuya (aka Kame, kamenashi-kun, K^2, etc)
A) Akanishi Jin (aka Jin, bakanishi, etc)
T) Taguchi Junnosuke (aka Junno, Jun-kun, Taguchi-kun, etc)

U) Ueda Tatsuya (aka Ueda, uepii, Tat-chan, etc)
